This Student/Home Grown group features our local saxophonist Seth Kalina, presenting his quintet alongside the great guest vocalist Andrew Fisher for an evening of music composed and performed by the legendary John Coltrane. Hailing from the prestigious jazz studies program at Michigan State University, under the mentorship of acclaimed, award-winning bassist Rodney Whitaker. Together, they will be exploring the spiritual and transformative repertoire of Coltrane, honoring his legacy through their own unique performance.
