Following the April release of Pyrography (ears&eyes), pianist and composer Paul Hecht went back to the studio with James Davis on trumpet, Ben Dillinger on bass, and Gustavo Cortiñas on drums, including versatile alto saxophonist Michael Hudson-Casanova, for a record to release in 2026.

Following the April release of Pyrography (ears&eyes), pianist and composer Paul Hecht went back to the studio with James Davis on trumpet, Ben Dillinger on bass, and Gustavo Cortiñas on drums, but this time including versatile alto saxophonist Michael Hudson-Casanova, for a new record planned for release in 2026. This evening’s concert presents music from both recordings.
