TICKETS are $12 General/$6 Student. Concert is one long set, and ends around 9:00 pm.
Our Student Series presents our Merrimans' Play-House Players trumpeter, Maximilian Wilfinger. The goal of this concert is to present music that explores the linguistic concept of an 'anadrome'. An anadrome is a word that spells another word when spelt backwards. A humorous example of this is 'emordilap' (palindrome spelt backwards). Plenty of song titles use this to spell the names of places or people backwards throughout jazz. This concert will be an opportunity to present these pieces and a couple of originals from the pen of Maximilian Wilfinger.
