Formed by five musicians who first connected while studying at Northern Illinois University, the Gabriel Wade Quintet has evolved from friends to musical brothers. The ensemble features Gabriel Wade on trumpet, Jared Schultz on alto and tenor saxophone, Isaiah Jones Jr. on piano, Nat Lin on bass, and Sid Smith IV on drums. Known for their electrifying group chemistry, the quintet frequently performs at premier Chicago venues, including Andy’s Jazz Club and the Jazz Showcase. Their repertoire honors the rich tradition of Chicago jazz while seamlessly integrating elements of gospel, R&B, and modern fusion. Currently celebrating the release of their latest single, "April 15th," the group continues to tour extensively across the Midwest, captivating audiences with their energetic live performances and sophisticated musicality.
