Darren Frate Group music has been described as world music, jazz and jazz fusion woven together by bass driven grooves and improvisation. The leader, bassist Darren Frate, is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music. The group will be debuting new compositions for this show as well as works from the group's cd release "Resonance". Darren Frate will be joined by Dave Kasper on saxophones/woodwinds and Dave Black on drums and percussion.

Darren Frate is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, majoring in film scoring. After college Darren recorded and toured with several acts including Mike Stern, Peter Noone, Ian Hunter, The Blind Boys of Alabama as well as many others.
